Lisa Katz
Lisa Katz was born in New York and moved to Israel in 1983, receiving a
PhD on the poetry of Sylvia Plath from the English Department of the
Hebrew University, where she teaches literary translation. She serves
as co-editor of the Israeli pages of the Poetry International Web (PIW) project
for world poetry in translation. A volume off her poetry in Hebrew
translation will appear in Israel in 2006; an essay on Plath is
forthcoming in European Contributions to American Studies. She lives in Jerusalem.
