Born in Mexico City in 1952, Pura López-Colomé is the author of several books in Spanish as well as a highly regarded translator for Samuel Beckett, Seamus Heaney, and Gertrude Stein. López-Colomé now lives in Cuernavaca, Mexico with her family.
