David Treuer
David Treuer is Ojibwe from the Leech Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota. He is the author of three novels, The Translation of Dr Apelles, Little, and The Hiawatha, as well as a book of essays, Native American Fiction, and is the recipient of a 2007 Guggenheim Fellowship.
