Nick Flynn's first collection, Some Ether, received the 1999 PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award as well as several other prizes and honors. He is currently working on a memoir about homelessness and his father. A failed beekeeper, he lives in upstate New York and Provincetown, Massachusetts.
